Please note: This posting is for a 4-month Student Summer 2025 placement with a start date of May 2025 and end-date of August 2025.

In order to be eligible for this 4-month Student position, you must either:

  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2025; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April/August 2025), but you require the work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.

What is the opportunity?

As BMCC, Supplier Relationships Administrator, you will assist with the planning, directing and coordination of activities associated with Supplier Management within Brand, Marketing, Communications, and Citizenship (BMCC). In this role, you will also support in the enhancement and documentation of processes to on-board new suppliers, assist in the completion of risk assessments and related tasks while working with other areas of the organization. You will also independently and effectively lead our business partners through information gathering sessions to ensure adherence to RBC policies on third party risk management.

What will you do?

  • Assist to develop, drive, and improve the supplier engagement practice across all BMCC by creating a consistent, repeatable, and predictable process that can be leveraged.
  • Manage a more holistic approach to measure progress against assigned action items and key deliverables and provide reporting metric results to management.
  • Advises internal partners on steps and requirements for creating services agreements and maintaining supplier relationships.
  • Assist with the enhancement of the internal storage site (information library) for every supplier within BMCC.
  • Support suppliers and/or internal partners on issues relevant to terms of contracts and supplier maintenance while developing and fostering relationships, both internal and external to RBC
  • Support leadership and provide thought leadership in BMCC in developing action plans for execution of the intake of new supplier requests.
  • Responsible for the execution of policies and procedures of contract management while managing all administration of supplier relationships.
