Kinross' Corporate maintenance group is looking to hire a student for the summer of 2025 as part of our Gold Rush Internship program.
The Maintenance intern will assist the function in updating the Total Cost of Ownership ("TCO") process and related tools, which provide a framework for deciding if physical assets need to be replaced or repaired based on current and expected operational context. The TCO project will emphasize the processing facilities. In addition, the intern will support the function in providing assistance to different sites globally on enhancing the performance of their equipment in terms of safety, reliability and efficiency towards achieving business objectives.
In the role the intern will learn about critical processes and practices for the optimal management of physical assets as pertain to the mining industry in both mining and mill areas, as well as the processes, technologies and business systems utilized to achieve such optimization.
