The Canadian Greenfields Exploration summer intern will assist the Kinross Greenfield Exploration Canada (KGEC) team with all aspects of exploration fieldwork that will include prospecting and mapping as well as the stripping of outcrops in order to take representative chip and channel samples for gold analysis. Detailed mapping will be conducted on the exposed and washed outcrops.
The Canadian Greenfields Exploration summer intern will report to the most senior geologist on his/her field crew at the time of their rotation, but ultimately reports to the Senior Project Geologist, who will be on site regularly throughout the summer.
