Reporting to the Supervisor of Facilities Operations, we are looking for two (2) temporary seasonal Building Attendants whose role will provide general assistance during summer months when workloads are heavier with the operation of outdoor pools. The role will assist in opening pool procedures during May and June and conduct daily operations tasks at outdoor pools on a daily basis, including pool chemistry checks and daily cleaning tasks. This position will also assist the Building Operations Assistant position in completing work orders, including general maintenance assistance, moving furniture and program equipment to support recreation day programs and event set-ups and property clean-up.
Grade 12 graduation or equivalent
This position requires shift work on both weekdays and weekends working 35 hours per week with rotating shifts, including days (7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.), afternoons (2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.) and weekends in accordance with the collective agreement. Overtime will be scheduled in accordance with the collective agreement.
This position falls within our inside workers union salary scale and the current hourly rate of pay is $26.03 to $ 27.67 per hour.
