The Ministry of the Attorney General is now recruiting for our 2025 1st year (1L) Summer Law Student positions. Our summer law student positions are part of the learning pathway that will support the experiential-training-competencies for candidates, established by the Law Society of Ontario.

As a summer law student, you can expect your role to include duties like:

• Summarizing cases, evidence and legal documents
• Preparing affidavits of documents, case summaries and legal memos
• Conducting legal research in the areas of civil litigation, estates, child custody/access, child protection, criminal and administrative law
• Developing policy and position papers

You are a law student (LL. B, J.D. or equivalent) who will be completing your 1st year of law school in 2025.
