Occupational Health Nurse - Summer Student

As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will be joining our Occupational Health team at the Saint John Home Office, and sometimes, the Refinery. The Occupational Health team is part of the overall Health, Safety and Environment team allowing you to collaborate with emergency response, safety, and industrial hygiene professionals. This is a wonderful opportunity for an aspiring nurse as you will work alongside and learn from highly skilled nurses and our office administrator.

In this role, you will aid with all medicals (respiratory, fire fighter, etc.), health risk assessments, blood work, administering immunizations and completing audiograms. You will also be tasked with supporting first aid audits and provider training, health and wellness presentations, filing, and assisting nurses as needed with daily tasks and health center visits.

Your Experience:

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary Nursing Program

• Must have completed at least one year of post-secondary education and be returning to school in the Fall
