As a Human Resources Governance Student, you will support the execution of a variety of human resources and compliance initiatives, working collaboratively across the business including Regulatory Compliance, Legal, and other Human Resources teams. These initiatives could include reviewing policies, processes, legislative requirements, and reporting. Your goal will be to develop a well-rounded understanding of all HR areas, including operations, compensation, recruitment practices, and various other areas. Your success will provide new perspectives and ideas for this growing team.

In this role, you will assist the HR Governance team with day-to-day operations, and you will be heavily involved in project work, policy reviews, and researching and analyzing HR legislation. This will include learning how to interpret legislation and leading or supporting legislative changes across the business. You will work frequently on presentations, excel, and provide overall support to the HR Governance team.

This is a fast-paced environment that requires quick thinking and the ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with others in a team environment.

Your Experience:

  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education with an interest in Human Resources and/or Law
  • Interest in conducting research is an asset
  • Must have completed at least one year of post-secondary education and be returning to school
