Mulgrave is one of Canada's leading independent co-educational pre-K - 12 day schools, serving the North Shore of Vancouver. We are an established IB Continuum World School with a reputation for excellence and innovation. We are now seeking teachers to lead our summer programs.

Program Overview:

Mulgrave's Summer Programs run for five weeks:

• July 2-4, July 7-11, July 14-18, July 21-25, and July 28-August 1.

Our programs provide an enriching experience for students, featuring a variety of camps, including outdoor education, athletics, arts, and academics. We offer both half-day and full-day programs for students entering Pre-K to Grade 12. These programs are open to Mulgrave students as well as school-age children from the Lower Mainland, across Canada, and internationally.

• Summer Early Years: For children ages 4-5 entering Preschool and Kindergarten (weekly camps from 9:00am to 1:00pm).
• Summer Camp: For children entering Grades 1-6 (weekly camps from 9:00am to 12:00pm and 12:30pm to 3:30pm).
• Summer Learning & Academics:
  • Non-Credit Courses: Academic enrichment in Math and English for students entering Grades 6-10. One week courses in the morning & afternoon
  • For-Credit Courses: Grade 10 Science, Physics 11, and Pre-Calculus 11 for students entering Grades 10-12.Four-week courses in the morning & afternoon

Opportunity:

We are currently hiring experienced educators to deliver the following camps and courses starting the week of July 7th:

• Early Childhood Educators: One-week camps (5 hrs/day, from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM) with a 2-week commitment required.
• PreCalculus 11: For-credit, 4-week course (4 hrs/day) from July 7 to August 1.

The salary is competitive, and we also offer camp discounts for the children of our summer instructors who participate in Mulgrave-operated camps. There is no public transportation to the School. Applicants must provide their own transportation.
